I find it intriguing how such a wee human being can come on the scene and revolutionize a family.

A tiny life that can enliven all generations

unknowingly capable of perpetuating a heritage

Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD...

 and the fruit of the womb is his reward.  Psalm 127:3

An infant has the power to transform a boy into a man...

As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Psalm 127:4

and refashion a Father... into a Grandfather...

and Aunties to Great Aunties...

and Grandmothers to Great Grandmothers...

and Great-Great-Grandmothers too!

And to think that a baby can do all this just by being born!

And the family tree broadens... and it's roots run deep...

continuing a legacy... binding the past with the present and a hope for the future.

And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers... Malachi 4:6
